Cinnamon Bun Swirl Smoothie

This dreamy winter smoothie is deliciously warming, nourishing and satisfying. 

Cinnamon is a great anti-inflammatory and is well known for its amazing ability to balance blood sugar, thus decreasing cravings and warding away energy dips. 

Did you know that the smell of cinnamon boosts brain activity? Studies show the sweet smell of cinnamon can help you improve your memory and cognitive processing. 

Voila, the perfect snack to enjoy while studying.  

RECIPE

  • 1 cup of coconut milk

  • ½ cup water (if needed)

  • ½ frozen banana

  • 2 tbsp almond butter

  • Dash of maple syrup

  • I tsp chopped gingerroot

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • Dash of vanilla extract

  • Optional Boost: scoop of vanilla protein powder

Add ingredients to blender and blend until smooth.
